Could this be an early indication of a potential postseason matchup? 

Week 11 is still far too early to declare which teams are postseason bound. That said, Monday Night Football might be giving fans a taste of a potential showdown in the NFC with Aaron Donald and the Los Angeles Rams paying a visit to Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

It’s a shootout of wits from the coaching side as young gun Sean McVay looks to continue his hot streak. One year after missing the playoffs, the budding star coach has the offense kicking despite a limited run game. Meanwhile, quarterback whisper Bruce Arians has brought the old wisdom down on Brady to help regain any confidence lost during his final season in New England.

Tampa Bay might be fighting to stay in the race for the NFC South title. After Taysom Hill bullied his way into the starting role for New Orleans, the Saints remain two games ahead in the division standings. Offensively, Tampa will be looking to build off an impressive Week 10 outing in which they tallied 544 total yards and five scores.

Don’t think this Rams defense is one to sleep on either. With a new defensive mind at the helm, Donald and the secondary vastly improved to command the attention of a top-ranking over average yards allowed per game (296.4). The secondary, led by Jalen Ramsey, is completely rebuilt, causing eight interceptions and finishing in the top five of every statical pass defense category.

The real storyline to follow will be the Jeykll/Hyde experiment known as Jared Goff. The former No.1 overall pick picked his way to a divisional win over Seattle with 302 passing yards and a rating of 96.9. That was against the league’s worst secondary. How will he handle going up against the NFL’s best?
