Justin Herbert – Los Angeles Chargers

Another week, another exemplary performance from the Chargers rookie phenomenon who, following the torn ACL suffered by first overall pick Joe Burrow in Week 11, looks a shoo-in to be the Offensive Rookie of the Year.

The main difference between this performance against the hapless New York Jets and most of his displays this season is that it came in a win.

Los Angeles’ defeat of the Jets snapped a four-game losing streak and gave Herbert only his second victory as a starter despite his consistently stellar showings in his maiden season in the league.

But fantasy owners who picked him up off the waiver wire after he replaced Tyrod Taylor in Week 2 have reaped the rewards of that consistency.

Herbert threw for 366 yards and three touchdowns, netting him 27.7 fantasy points, the second-most among quarterbacks in Week 11 behind Deshaun Watson of the Houston Texans.

Per Field Yates of ESPN, Herbert is the only rookie in league history to have three or more passing touchdowns in five games.

In only one game this season has Herbert failed to amass 20 fantasy points. Herbert has emphatically silenced his pre-draft doubters and, while the Chargers cannot yet be trusted to win on a regular basis, Herbert is already one of the most reliable quarterbacks in fantasy football.
