Cowboys-Ravens game moved back to Tuesday in Week 13
By John Buhler
The Dallas Cowboys will now play the Baltimore Ravens on Tuesday in Week 13.
The Dallas Cowboys‘ road date at the Baltimore Ravens has been moved back yet again.
Due to an internal COVID-19 outbreak within Baltimore, the Ravens’ Week 12 and Week 13 contests have been impacted. With their Week 12 game vs. the Pittsburgh Steelers postponed several times from Thanksgiving Night to Wednesday, Dec. 2 afternoon, this has caused the Ravens’ game vs. the Cowboys to be moved back twice already, from Thursday now to Tuesday.
Flexibility is the only way we are going to get through the 2020 NFL season
Though the league has yet to cancel a game in the 2020 NFL season so far, it would be a shocking surprise if all 256 games are played before the end of Week 17. While the league felt comfortable with the Denver Broncos playing on Sunday with its entire quarterback room out due to contact tracing, it is adamant about getting this Ravens at Steelers game in by any means necessary.
This is a huge rivalry game in the AFC and one with major playoff implications on the line. Pittsburgh has yet to lose a game this season, while Baltimore needs to get right fast to ensure the Ravens will get in as a wild card team. As for the Cowboys games, it is against the Cowboys, which means a big number on television. It does not matter that the Cowboys are an awful team.
By playing on Tuesday next week, hopefully the NFL can get back to relative normal for Week 14.
