Derek Barnett ruined the Seattle Seahawks’ fourth-down plans two times in a row.

Derek Barnett was feeling it in the first quarter vs. the Seattle Seahawks.

In the first quarter on Monday Night Football, the Philadelphia Eagles defensive lineman had his mind made up on a pair of fourth downs. Seattle went for it on fourth-and-2 with goal to go. Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson tried to find wide receiver David Moore in the backfield. Barnett decided to make it a turnover on downs and a five-yard loss on this play.

On the ensuing possession, the Seahawks decided to go for it again on fourth-and-2 from the Philadelphia 37-yard line. Once again, Barnett made an explosive play for the Eagles defense by sacking Wilson for yet another turnover on downs. Two first-quarter offensive possessions ended with turnovers on downs by way of Barnett making a tackle for a loss of yardage. Incredible stuff.

This is why Derek Barnett was a first-round pick by the Eagles back in 2017
