2. Pressure Sam Darnold

Any team with a good pass rush likely will end up in the postseason thanks to turnovers. There lies the problem for Las Vegas since their staff only has 12 on the year, six of which have come from Maxx Crosby.

When a quarterback has little confidence, they’re bound to make mistakes. Darnold hasn’t been his 2019 self due to Gase’s play-calling and regression from the system around him. It’s clear the franchise doesn’t believe he’s the answer, so why should he believe in himself?

The right side of the Jets offensive line is atrocious, allowing defenders to add pressure nearly every snap. Crosby, Clelin Ferrell, or perhaps new addition Vic Beasley could make his presence felt from the practice squad. If you force Darnold to be flustered, it’ll lead to mistakes, he’ll likely gift you a turnover or two.
