Willie Snead calls out JuJu Smith-Schuster after Steelers-Ravens game

Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Willie Snead doesn’t appear to be a fan of Pittsburgh Steelers wideout JuJu Smith-Schuster.

The Baltimore Ravens and the Pittsburgh Steelers were finally able to play and complete their Week 12 matchup on Wednesday. The contest was rescheduled three times in the past week due to a massive COVID-19 outbreak in the Ravens’ facility, which had as much as 24 players on the reserve list at one point. But the game was played, and Pittsburgh held on to defeat Baltimore 19-14 to extend their win-loss record to 11-0. Even though the contest was over, the beef between both squads continued on social media.

Following the win, Steelers wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster posted a photo of him stiff-arming Ravens cornerback Tramon Williams with a caption reading, “imagine getting stiff-armed 10-yards by a Tik Tok influencer.”

Ravens wideout Willie Snead, who was inactive for the game due to being on the team’s COVID-19 list, replied to Smith-Schuster’s post, calling him “soft az hell.”

The Ravens-Steelers bad blood will always flow

It should come as no surprise that a Ravens player called out a Steelers player, or vice versa. This is a tradition between the two AFC North squads, as many have dubbed their rivalry the most heated in the NFL. Who knew someone would get angry at the term “Tik Tok influencer?” We are shocked (no we aren’t).

Snead was unable to suit up for the Ravens, as he tested positive for the coronavirus this past Sunday. At the time of the news, Snead was the seventh starter on Baltimore’s offense to yield a positive test result.

As for Smith-Schuster, he had a memorable day besides his much-talked-about stiff arm. The fourth-year receiver hauled in 8-of-9 targets from quarterback Ben Roethlisberger for 37 yards and a touchdown, which came in the third quarter to put Pittsburgh ahead 19-7 at the time.

The Ravens will be irritated now, but they won’t be able to gain some revenge until next season, as the Steelers swept the 2020 season series. But you best believe that Baltimore won’t forget the shot thrown by Smith-Schuster.
