The Colts and Titans are among the teams on upset alert this week.

The NFL seems like it is trying to withstand a variety of COVID-related crises right now, which makes completing the season feel like an even more difficult task than usual. Week 12 was certainly interesting as we had quite a few upsets, including two that were pegged in this space last week.

Let’s take a look at three more squads that could be in jeopardy of an upset in Week 13. All odds referenced in this story are provided courtesy of the FanDuel Sportsbook.

The Vikings need to be on upset alert against Jacksonville

It is still a long shot that the Vikings will reach the playoffs but they kept their hopes alive with a solid win over the Carolina Panthers on Sunday. Minnesota improved to 5-6 with the victory and essentially needs to run the table in order to have a shot at sneaking into a wild card slot in the NFC.

This week offers what looks like a layup as the Vikings are 9.5-point home favorites against the 1-10 Jacksonville Jaguars. Unlike the Jets, who find themselves getting blown out week after week, the Jaguars have been highly competitive in most games before falling short at the end, including Sunday’s 27-25 loss to the Browns where Mike Glennon failed to complete a two-point conversion attempt that would have forced overtime.

Minnesota has a tough matchup with Tampa Bay looming next week so it would be easy to look past the Jaguars and focus on dealing with the Buccaneers. Taking that approach would create a classic trap-game scenario that the Vikings have to be careful they don’t fall into this week.
