Roman Reigns left a pile of destruction in the ring during the main event of Friday’s WWE SmackDown after attacking both Kevin Owens and Otis.

It must be Friday, as another edition of WWE SmackDown hit fans from the ThunderDome in Florida. The action continued this week, with several bouts and angles continuing the many storylines going on within the WWE.

Former WWE SmackDown women’s champion Bayley was in the first match of the night. Her opponent was another former champion in Natalya. Bayley was in control early, but her penchant for paying attention to Bianca Belair at ringside created the opening for Natalya to take over. That would continue as Bayley kept forgetting about Natalya being the one she had to fight. Natalya reversed a maneuver in the corner and locked in the Sharpshooter to force Bayley to submit for the win.

With Pat Patterson’s passing this week, there was a tribute match for the WWE Hall-of-Famer. On one side was Daniel Bryan, Rey Mysterio and Big E. Their opponents were Sami Zayn, Shinsuke Nakamura and Dolph Ziggler.

The team of faces was playing around with their opponents early until Bryan came into the match. Distractions helped Ziggler knock him from the top rope and stop his momentum. Big E then got back involved in the match and tossed everyone around. That would continue until he smashed his shoulder into the ring post. The groups scrambled in the match until Bryan found a way to roll Zayn up and score a surprising pinfall.

Baron Corbin and Buddy Murphy had a rematch from their battle last week. Corbin was not out to the ring alone as the men formerly known as the Forgotten Sons were out to accompany him. The story of the match was the moment that Blake and Cutter got involved with the Mysterio family, causing Murphy to get involved and run right into the End of Days.

Tag team action was next as Otis and Kevin Owens teamed to face off against Jey Uso and Roman Reigns. At least, it was what everyone thought was a tag match, as Roman did not show up, making this a handicap match – at least to start.

Uso took the start of the match alone before Roman made his way down to join in. He did not seem interested in joining in the match, instead attacking Otis and beating him violently outside the ring. That left Owens to fight on his own against the Samoan family members. Owens looked like he was going to find a way to win, but Roman jumped back into the ring and choked Owens unconscious with a front choke.
