The Oklahoma Sooners are seeking a spot in this year’s Big 12 championship game. The Baylor Bears are simply seeking wins at this point in what has been a long, difficult season in Waco, Texas.

Lincoln Riley and the Oklahoma Sooners just need to take care of business and win their last couple of games. If OU can handle a couple of teams who have had rough seasons, then Riley will have his team competing for another conference championship game. If Oklahoma slips up against Baylor, then things might get a little complicated for OU.

The Bears have experienced a rough season, especially compared to the remarkable success Baylor had last season. First-year head coach Dave Aranda hasn’t had the most enjoyable time this season, but the Bears have started to show some progress. After a couple of road losses to Iowa State and Texas Tech by a combined eight points, Baylor broke through last week and took down Kansas State.

But can Baylor be expected to turn that success into a winning streak? Are the Bears even able to keep up with Oklahoma’s offense? Could Aranda and company find a way to win away from home? Or will this simply be another blowout as the Sooners get another step closer to competing for another conference title?

This is another game that Riley and company should cruise right through without any significant issue. The Sooners are a more talented team, have a considerably better offense and are able to get enough stops on defense to win. Expect a big win from OU here as they cover the spread by the third quarter.
