Mayweather is no stranger to competing in strange exhibitions. In 2008, Mayweather appeared at the WWE’s WrestleMania 24 to compete in a match with Big Show. Just over a decade later, Mayweather competed in a special exhibition bout at a RIZIN event, where he finished Tenshin Nasukawa.
Mayweather is one of the biggest pay-per-view draws boxing has ever seen. His 2015 bout with Manny Pacquiao and his 2017 “Money Fight” with Conor McGregor both produced over 4 million pay-per-view buys.
