5-7. Previous: . Detroit Lions. 24. team. 50.

The Lions have a new head coach in interim sideline leader Darrell Bevell and the club was in Chicago looking to snap a five-game losing streak to the rival Bears. And things didn’t look good when the team was down by 10 points late in the fourth quarter. But Matthew Stafford finished with 402 yards through the air and three scores (1 interception) and Adrian Peterson’s second TD of the game with 1:37 remaining capped off a huge comeback.

Previous: . Denver Broncos. 23. team. 45. . 4-8

Quarterback Drew Lock was back at the helm for the team as the Broncos visited Kansas City Sunday night and looked to end a 10-game losing streak to the Chiefs. The Denver defense limited Patrick Mahomes and Andy Reid’s offense to one touchdown. And Melvin Gordon had 131 of his team’s 179 yards rushing. But Kansas City also moved the ball when they had to and didn’t commit a turnover while Lock would finish with a pair of interceptions.

Ron Rivera’s club find itself in the midst of a divisional in which no team will finish the season with at least 10 wins. To their credit, the Washington Football Team has already won one more game than it did all of last season and owns a 3-2 record vs. their NFC East rivals. That’s quite a difference for a club that was 0-6 when facing their divisional neighbors in 2019. And Ron Rivera’s team has utilized three different starting quarterbacks this season.
