Fantasy football 5-for-5: Regular season fantasy awards

Fantasy Most Valuable Player:
First and foremost, we all know what this means. These are the big dogs, the studs that your teams are built around. Like the NFL, we’ve got QBs dominating this portion of the awards, as they’re the ones putting up the big numbers.

Kyler Murray

Russell Wilson

Dalvin Cook
-
Aaron Rodgers
-
Devante Adams
Kyler Murray has been a fantasy rock star this season. Drafted somewhere in the 60s in most leagues, Murray was not a consensus preseason stud at the QB position, but has rewarded his shareholders by becoming QB1 and the top scoring player in fantasy football through 12 weeks.
Wilson and Rodgers have similar resumes, as QBs significantly out-producing their Average Draft Positions (ADPs). In a year full of injuries and ineffectiveness at the RB position,
Dalvin Cook has been a bright spot in a dark void. The top RB in points per game, Cook has rewarded his fantasy managers despite being the 5th RB drafted in terms of ADP.
Similarly, Devante Adams has blown away all other WRs in points per game, and is WR2 overall despite missing two games early in the season. Stake in any of these five players has likely secured you a spot in the Fantasy Football Playoffs.
