Fantasy Comeback Player of the Year:

Everyone has down years. Some get hurt, some see less playing time, some are just plain set in the wrong system. Whatever it is, there’s always a chance to redeem yourself, and these were the ones who best took advantage of that chance.

  1. Aaron Rodgers

  2. Adam Thielen

  3. Stefon Diggs

  4. Tom Brady

  5. David Johnson

After finishing near the bottom rung of startable fantasy QBs last year, Aaron Rodgers has rebounded this year into a top-4 fantasy QB and the 6th-highest scoring player in fantasy this season.

Adam Thielen, coming off a season marred by injury and ineffectiveness that saw him claim the rank of WR56, has exploded back this year as a WR11 and a set-and-forget starter every week.

Stefon Diggs, who shared in Thielen’s 2019 ineffectiveness as Minnesota WRs, has found new life in Buffalo this season and currently holds a top-5 WR ranking and averages over 18 points per game after averaging under 15 last season.

Tom Brady, once viewed as a fantasy afterthought, barely snuck into the top 12 fantasy QBs a year ago. Now, having found new life (and several explosive receiving options) in Tampa Bay, he’s QB7 and is in the top 10 in points among all NFL players.

David Johnson, despite his late-season injury, came back from a benching in Arizona in 2019 and is now averaging nearly 12 points per game and has become a realistic FLEX option in a turbulent NFL year.
