Miami vs. North Carolina: Odds, TV info, live stream, prediction
With the ACC title match up already set, the North Carolina Tar Heels look to close out their ACC schedule with a win over the Miami Hurricanes.
Entering the 2020 season both the Miami Hurricanes and the North Carolina Tar Heels were two of the three teams that were highly talked about when it came to winning the ACC over the Clemson Tigers. Unfortunately, neither of these two were able to accomplish this goal and will have to watch the ACC title game at home. But that does not mean that this game has any meaning.
The Miami Hurricanes led by quarterback D’Eriq King only have one loss on the season (42-17, Clemson), and barring a major setback, will earn a podium finish in the ACC standing earning the bronze medal. The Hurricanes have a lot to hang their heads on this season as they gear up for a potential New Year’s Six Bowl Game. And with many expecting King to return in 2021, the Hurricanes will have a lot of momentum heading into next season with high expectations of “Playoffs or Bust”.
North Carolina on the other hand probably wishes they could have a few of their games back. With two of their three losses coming at the hands of Florida State and Virginia, it is clear that the expectations for the Tar Heels were a tad bit high for this season. But just like the Hurricanes, the Tar Heels have a lot to build off of going into next season in which we should see them playing at the highest of levels in the ACC. Granted, if the Tar Heels win on Saturday and Miami goes on to lose to Georgia Tech next weekend, the Tar Heels will finish third in the ACC and could find themselves in a NY6 bowl game.
North Carolina wants to end their regular season with a signature win, while the Hurricanes want to keep their NY6 hopes alive, but only one can come out on top…obviously.
Here’s how to watch and bet on the North Carolina vs Miami game

- TV Info: ABC

Prediction: This will be a high scoring game as both offenses are led by two of the best quarterbacks in all of college football. King is going to be able to keep Miami’s drives alive with both his arm and his legs. But it is their defense that concerns me, a defense that allowed 550 yards to Clemson, over 500 to Louisville, and over 400 to NC State. Notice only one of those teams makes sense of being on that list. The Tar Heels offense will be too much for the Hurricanes to keep up with as North Carolina gets the win and keeps their chances for a NY6 bowl alive.
Score: North Carolina 41, Miami 38.
