Both are back Sunday as they look to turn things around against the Houston Texans. Deshaun Watson will be looking to make Bears fans even more upset with a victory over the team that probably should have drafted him back in 2017.
What to watch for in Texans vs. Bears
The Bears actually managed to score 30 points against the Lions. Can they reach that mark again today with all their offensive woes? The Texans defense allows 27 points per game and Nagy should realistically open up the offense as there is nothing to lose.
The top storyline is going to be the Watson vs. Trubisky matchup. Bears fans have heard this storyline enough with Watson and Patrick Mahomes being compared to Trubisky. But it remains a fair comparison for Bears GM Ryan Pace to deal with. He tied his career to his pick and it hasn’t gone as planned.
A win for the Texans is nothing other than a momentum builder for the team and a nice prize for Romeo Crennel. However, a win for Chicago is much more important and keeps the slim playoff hopes alive.
