Becky Lynch announces pregnancy on Raw

There was plenty of negative items to speak of regarding 2020, but there was definitely a huge positive that came from a certain fiery redheaded WWE superstar. Becky Lynch, known universally as “The Man,” made a blockbuster announcement this year that she was pregnant. It came as a huge surprise, as the news came just 24 hours after a big Raw Women’s Championship defense.

On the May 11 episode of Monday Night Raw, Lynch let the world know that she was stepping away to become a mother. In an emotional moment, she relinquished her title and handed it to Asuka, who she had been feuding with over most of the previous few months.

In an update to that wonderful announcement, Lynch broke the news on Monday that her baby had been born and she was excited to spread the news.

It’s definitely a feel-good moment, as a new potential second-generation star could be on our hands. But in the meantime, Lynch and new dad Seth Rollins get to enjoy a new adventure of being parents.

As proud as she is of baby Roux and the joys that she’s about to take on, one has to wonder if she might be on the agenda to make a surprise appearance at the Royal Rumble next month. She’s already made one unscheduled entrance into the Women’s portion of the event, could we see a repeat performance next month?

Now that the WWE Draft has come and gone, another question remains is what show will she make her return? Both Raw and SmackDown would be lucky to have her on the roster, but at the same time, a return to NXT wouldn’t be out of the question either. It’s already proven to be a success for the likes of Ember Moon and Finn Balor, so we’ll have to wait and see what happens.
