The Buffalo Bills secondary receiver took to Twitter to give the Steelers’ wide receiver corp a piece of his mind

When looking at the stat line, Isaiah McKenzie wouldn’t be considered a key piece for the Buffalo Bills passing attack. One could even argue his No. 4 status has officially been taken over by rookie Gabriel Davis.

Sometimes it isn’t about the number of targets a wide receiver sees, but rather what they can do after the catch. McKenzie’s lone target on Sunday Night Football came on a crucial third and 10 where Josh Allen was forced to step up in the pocket as pressure loomed around the corner.

The catch gave Buffalo a fresh set of downs and helped set up a Tyler Bass field goal for a two-score lead. The Bills would go one to secure the 26-15 win at home, inching them closer to second place in the AFC playoff race.

Meanwhile, McKenzie took to Twitter Monday to have a little fun with the Steelers receiving corp, mentioning how Levi Wallace’s interception might have been the best catch made coming from a ball coming out of Ben Roethlisberger’s hands.

The Steelers drops have been a massive concern over the past several weeks

Allen finished strong in the second half, finishing 24-of-43 with 238 yards and a pair of scores. What’s more interesting is how many dropped passes came from the Bills’ receiving corps. Of the six Bills that ended with a catch, two had drops, including one culminating in a wild fumble by the Steelers’ defense.

The Pittsburgh receiving corps has been great at times, though recently has had a string of the yips. Rising sensation Diontae Johnson currently is second on the Steelers in receptions with 69. He also leads the NFL in drops, two coming in the first half Sunday night.

Tight end Eric Ebron recently has seen his fair share of drops during the team’s two-game losing streak.

The Bills came out swinging after wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster was seen dancing on the team’s logo during pregame. Instead of backing up the disrespect, the Steelers’ offense committed a pair of turnovers, allowed one to be returned for a touchdown and were held to 47 total rushing yards.

Not ideal for a franchise that once remained the last undefeated team in the NFL.

McKenzie and the Bills are hitting their stride at the right moment entering the final weeks. More than that, his troll game has certainly reached an all-time high.
