Chiefs: Mecole Hardman trolls Patrick Mahomes with new Twitter profile pic

Mecole Hardman had some fun at Patrick Mahomes’ expense.
Leave it to the Chiefs to find humor is the most uncertain of times.
Mahomes and Co. took care of business against the Miami Dolphins, despite a late surge by Tua Tagovailoa and the Phins offense. The win combined with a Steelers loss put the Chiefs squarely in first place in the AFC, on pace to get a first-round bye AND home-field advantage throughout the AFC playoffs. As if having Mahomes and the most explosive offense in football wasn’t enough of an advantage.
While on cloud nine, one of Mahomes’ favorite targets thought he’d troll his quarterback, and the former MVP took kindly to it.
The Chiefs wideouts have a comfortable working relationship with Mahomes, and then some
Such a move by Hardman was clearly in jest, but it speaks wonders to the fact that the young target feels comfortable enough around arguably the best player in all of football to openly troll him for the world to see. If anything, it speaks to Mahomes leadership in the locker room, and in the public eye.
On most teams, Hardman would be a primary weapon for just about any quarterback, but that’s not the case with the Chiefs. Sure, the Georgia product features prominently in the offense, but he’s a solid No. 3 option in the passing game behind Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelce. That’s not an insult to Hardman — if anything, it speaks to the number of explosive weapons the Chiefs have on offense. It’s a war chest Mahomes isn’t afraid to flaunt when the moment calls for it, and having elite play-callers Andy Reid and Eric Bieniemy at his disposal helps as well.
