National Signing Day predictions for the Top 25 uncommitted recruits
National Signing Day predictions for the Top 25 uncommitted recruits, including No. 1 overall recruit Korey Foreman who has a big decision to make.
In a year of uncertainty and unprecedented times, the college football landscape was flipped upside down. Nonetheless, the sport and its future have waged on amid a pandemic and coaches are still hot on the recruiting trail trying to build their respective programs for the future. Early National Signing Day is also just around the corner.
Early National Signing Day will take place on Dec. 16. On that date, it will become official for commits as they can sign the almighty letter of intent and lock themselves into a program as they put pen to paper.
While many top recruits have made their commitments known, there are plenty left that remained uncommitted, including several five-star recruits. The schools that are able to flip those swing recruits will ultimately turn the tide on their future and set forth a path for success going forward. Here are predictions for where each of these recruits could land.

- High School: Morse (San Diego, CA)
- Composite Rankings: No. 183, No. 8 RB
When it comes to predicting where recruits land, some are easier than others. In the pursuit of San Diego running back Byron Cardwell, it could be absolutely anyone’s game at the moment as the back awaits to make his decision.
There doesn’t seem to be a consensus as to what school has the edge, just the schools that have a shot at the moment. Those schools include Cal, Oregon and UCLA, which could have the edge versus programs further away in Florida and Florida State.
Cardwell is a 6-foot running back with a big frame but with good speed to go with. He’s more than just a bulldozer as he has the ability to catch the ball as well, which makes him an even bigger threat once he hits the open field.
He won’t be announcing his commitment until Jan. 25. So maybe in the time between now and then it might start to become more clear which of these programs has the edge at landing the talented back.
Prediction: UCLA
