ILB. Cornhuskers . Wynden Ho'ohuli. 24. player. 810.

  • High School: Mililani (Mililani, HI)
  • Composite Rankings: No. 148, No. 9 ILB

Wynden Ho’ohuli is an impressive inside linebacker recruit with a bright future on Saturday’s. The Mililani product is the top recruit in Hawaii. The talented inside linebacker comes with a college-ready frame that could allow him to make an impact early.

At 6-doot-3 and 220 pounds, Ho’ohuli is on the bigger side and is going to stick his nose into the running game. A downhill style could allow the four-star recruit to also make a living rushing the passer as well.

Getting a sound tackler that can wrap up is important for any program. Ho’ohuli delivers some big hits as well which should be a warning to anyone that comes across the middle.

The consensus seems to be that Ho’ohuli will commit to and ultimately sign his letter of intent with Nebraska. The Cornhuskers need big hitters to contend with the weapons that exist in the Big Ten and the linebacker fits the profile.

Ho’ohuli won’t be making his announcement at early National Signing Day. Rather, Hawaii’s top recruit will be making his decision on Jan. 2. By the time January rolls around, will Nebraska still be the consensus favorite?

Prediction: Nebraska
