The number three overall recruit in the nation is still uncommitted. As the early National Signing Day approaches and the signing period begins, Sammamish defensive end J.T. Tuimoloau has yet to officially make his announcement.

Whether it’s at the beginning of the signing period or early next year, the five-star recruit will make his decision and decide whether to stay at home and play for Washington or go play for the Ohio State Buckeyes.

Those are the two consensus favorites for the nearly 6-foot-5, 280-pound defensive end. Both would make great choices for Tuimololau as well. Washington has done a masterful job of developing the defensive side of the ball, especially along the line.

The Huskies have remained a constant giant in a conference that has struggled with consistency. However, the same thing about development can be said about the Ohio State Buckeyes. They aren’t just sending pass rushers to the NFL, but rather right to the top of the draft.

The Buckeyes already have a huge commitment with Jack Sawyer and adding Tuimoloau along with him would be a major win for Columbus. What he ultimately decides feels like a coin flip at this point.
