Terrion Arnold is one of the top safeties on the board as early National Signing Day approaches. Schools looking to bolster the back end of the secondary are in hot pursuit of the Tallahassee product.

Arnold is a 6’0″ safety that can provide plenty of thump and a spark. Arnold is a two-sport athlete at the high school level and is a play-maker. We’ve seen the evolution of defensive players recently with colleges willing to move players around the defense and Arnold could fit that mold with his ability to make plays positionally.

The race for Arnold seems to be a three-team race between Florida, Alabama and Georgia. It should be no surprise that one of the top safeties available is narrowing down his choices to the top conference in college football.

Staying local and going to Florida would make sense. It’s also an indictment on Florida State for not being able to keep a top-flight recruit in the city.

Arnold will not be signing at early National Signing Day. The defensive back is expected to make his announcement on February 3rd. For prediction purposes, his recent social media activity has featured alligator emojis, so take that for what you will. The consensus from experts leans Florida as well.
