DraftKings EuroLeague basketball picks December 15
We have a two round week of DraftKings EuroLeague tournaments. We get an early start on Tuesday with the larger part of round 14. The first of five games tips at noon Eastern as Efes heads to Moscow to take on CSKA. 45 minutes later, Milan tips in Istanbul.
1pm Eastern features Red Star hosting Berlin and Baskonia heading to Kaunas, where they have owned Zalgiris of late. The last game is a 2pm Eastern as Olympiacos hosts Real Madrid. This is going to be a fun one! Let’s see who’s going to miss out on all the fun.
Out: Jan Vesely (calf), Ben Lammers (ankle), Patricio Garino (knee), Simone Fontecchio (knee), Taylor Rochestie (released), Steve Vasturia (knee), Alex Perez (calf).
Questionable: Sergio Rodriguez (undisclosed), Lorenzo Brown (groin), Marcus Eriksson (ankle), Luca Vildoza (back), Langston Hall (groin), Janis Strelnieks (hip), Ahmet Duverioglu (undisclosed), Zach Auguste (undisclosed).
Rodriguez should play in at least one of the rounds this week. He is on the travel roster to Turkey for games with Fenerbahce and Efes this week. Still, the price seems high for Sergio on a slate with so many good options.
Brown injured his groin in a domestic league game over the weekend. Even if he does play in either round 14 or 15, he will likely be limited. I’m staying away.
Often in the EuroLeague season we see about ten players playing half the game. The upside on everyone is capped except for the few elites out there.
For DraftKings EuroLeague, we can’t expect 5x value like in the NBA. Most winning lineups are around 180-200 DraftKings points, which is around 3.5 – 4x value. Keep that in mind when mining for value picks.
