DraftKings EuroLeague basketball picks December 16
We only have three games for our DraftKings EuroLeague tournaments today. St. Petersburg and Munich tip off at 11am Eastern. DraftKings decided that was too early, so they chopped it off the slate.
Khimki tips in Barcelona at 1pm Eastern. That’s where we begin our Euro trip. At 2:30 Eastern Valencia visits Olympiacos. Our trek ends at 2:45 Eastern with Tel Aviv visiting Villeurbanne. We still have some good options out there. Let’s see who’s not an option on this slate.
Out: Vanja Marinkovic (shoulder), William Howard (pelvis), Victor Claver (foot), Joan Sastre (knee), Matt Marsh (undisclosed).
Questionable: Kostas Papanikolaou (non-COVID illness), Louis Labeyrie (ankle), Sergey Karasev (undisclosed), Antonios Koniaris (undisclosed).
It is believed that Papanikolaou will be good to go but check and make sure before they tip off in Piraeus. Labeyrie is now within the original timetable for his return, but there has been no official word from Valencia.
Yesterday was one of the few instances where overtime actually hurt my bottom line. Everyone had Tavares, and Mack did very little in the extra sessions. I dropped out of the top 8 thanks to the overtimes, but I still won a little money. That’s good enough for me!
Often in the EuroLeague season we see about ten players playing half the game. The upside on everyone is capped except for the few elites out there.
For DraftKings EuroLeague, we can’t expect 5x value like in the NBA. Most winning lineups are around 180-200 DraftKings points, which is around 3.5 – 4x value. Keep that in mind when mining for value picks.
