Fantasy football: FanDuel NFL 2020 best lineup for Week 15
By Nick Villano
Wide Receiver: Michael Thomas $7,000
It must be weird to say the name Michael Thomas and low-cost option in the same sentence, but that is the Taysom Hill world.
However, there’s a chance that this Taysom Hill world isn’t going to last much longer. Drew Brees could return for this week’s matchup with the Kansas City Chiefs. The Saints say that they won’t rush Brees back because of an opponent, but Brees feels differently.
Thomas knows that Metcalf and Tyreek Hill have taken the “best wide receiver” billing from him. That will be some extra motivation in this week’s game. He needs to show that he’s still one of the most dangerous weapons in the game today.
The Chiefs have allowed some points through the air as of late. Tua Tagovailoa was able to cut the defending Super Bowl Champs for more than 300 yards and two touchdowns despite losing Devante Parker. Tom Brady spread the ball around for 345 yards and three touchdowns. Curtis Samuel pulled in nine balls for 105 yards and a touchdown.
The Chiefs have always been about bending and not breaking. The thing about that strategy is star players usually put up huge stats in the meantime. Thomas is going to get his. It’s been a terrible season for him, from injuries to punishments to now losing an actual passing quarterback. He has a lot of pent up production. It could explode this week.
