Scouting Report. Dan Quinn. 4.. 44. Pick Analysis. Former Falcons Head Coach. . player

An 0-5 start this season got Quinn fired as the Falcons head coach, and he a 14-23 record over his final two-plus seasons. Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports reported Quinn was already in demand back in November, with NFL and college teams apparently interested. More recently, it’s been reported that Quinn is seeking interviews for the college head coaching openings at Auburn and Arizona.

Other than a two-year stint (2011-2012) as defensive coordinator/defensive line coach at Florida, Quinn has been coaching in the NFL. His two years as Seattle Seahawks defensive coordinator, at the peak of the “Legion of Boom” (2013-2014) with the league’s top scoring and yardage defense both seasons, put him on the radar for head coaching opportunities and led to him being hired by the Falcons.

Quinn is lined up to have some options and opportunities as the coaching carousels start to spin. The Raiders should turn over all stones to find a fit for the defensive coordinator post, so the former Falcons’ head man is an easy inclusion on this list.
