Dez Bryant is officially back, throwing up his first ‘X’ since Dak Prescott threw him a touchdown pass three years ago.

The waiting is the hardest part, but oftentimes it’s worth it.

We all assumed Dez Bryant had already caught the last touchdown pass of his career, but the body was buried before it was cold. After spending three seasons away from football as a free agency, Bryant returned to the NFL this season with the Baltimore Ravens and officially completed his comeback in Week 15.

Bryant has been active for three games this season but finally got into the endzone against the Jaguars this Sunday.

It’s Bryant’s first touchdown catch since TDak Prescott threw one to him back in Week 13 of the 2017 season. To say it’s been a minute since we’ve seen Bryant throw up an ‘X’ is to understate how long it’s truly been.

Lamar Jackson may not have even been in the league the last time Dez scored a touchdown but that didn’t stop him from showing some respect after throwing him the 74th touchdown of the receiver’s career.

The throughline from Dez’s last touchdown catch to this one is pretty interesting. Dak was the last quarterback he caught a touchdown pass from and Lamar Jackson was the next quarterback to connect with him. That’s elite quarterback talent Dez has surrounded himself with, and he possesses luck that few wide receivers are blessed with during their careers.

Add Tony Romo to that list of quarterbacks as well.
