What does the NFL Draft look like now that we’ve had a change at the No. 1 pick?

The New York Jets went into Los Angeles during Week 15 of the 2020 NFL season and pulled out a win, shocking Sean McVay and his team, 23-20. While a win is always nice in the NFL, most Jets fans on social media went nuts, as it means they likely blew their shot at drafting a generational talent in Trevor Lawrence.

As we look towards Week 16, let us put together another first-round 2021 NFL Mock Draft.

Jacksonville Jaguars. Trevor Lawrence. 1. player. 52. . Quarterback

The biggest winners of Week 15 of the 2020 NFL season was the Jacksonville Jaguars, who kept their losing ways against the Baltimore Ravens. While they lost the game on the field, they may have won the war, as right now, they would hold the No. 1 overall pick in 2021, a draft where they have two first-round picks.

There is no doubt that if the Jaguars have the No. 1 overall pick, they are going to go quarterback, especially from what we have seen from them this season. Trevor Lawrence is the consensus No. 1 overall pick in this draft class, and he heads to Florida now instead of New York.

30. . Quarterback. New York Jets. Justin Fields. 2. player

Adam Gase is doing everything he can to ruin the New York Jets franchise, and that includes winning a nothing game in December to lose the No. 1 overall pick.  This guy has been a mess since he got to the Jets, including his first press conference, and on Sunday, he likely signed his walking papers.

With the No. 2 overall pick, the Jets could go several different ways, especially if general manager Joe Douglas is sold on Sam Darnold. If not, they select Ohio State quarterback Justin Fields, an incredibly talented quarterback in his own right who can get the job done with his arm, and his feet.

56. . Offensive Tackle. Cincinnati Bengals. Penei Sewell. 3. player

The Cincinnati Bengals shocked the NFL landscape on Monday night, beating their division rival Pittsburgh Steelers by the score of 27-17. Now, had Joe Burrow been playing, this likely would not be as shocking, but the fact that Ryan Finley went in and beat an 11-2 Steelers team flipped the AFC North on its head.

Burrow of course did not play due to him being injured badly weeks ago, and the franchise has to do a better job protecting their No. 1 asset. That means selecting Penei Sewell from Oregon to team with Jonah Williams at the tackle positions for the foreseeable future in Cincinnati.
