Patrick Mahomes hilariously decided to troll himself over a clip that went viral of him singing as a little boy. 

Patrick Mahomes can do no wrong. This season for the Kansas City Chiefs, the superstar quarterback has the defending Super Bowl champs playing some outstanding ball, as the team enters Week 16 with a 13-1 record.

However, as it turns out, Mahomes is human after all. Growing up, Mahomes’ singing voice sure didn’t match his talents throwing the ball around. That much was made clear with a clip of him singing on Christmas as a youngster. As you might imagine, Mahomes got plenty of flack for it, but decided to take things in stride.

Oh, Patrick! That sure is a great throwback clip and the world is thankful to see it this holiday season. While Mahomes’ voice may not be the best in the world, we’ll go ahead and forgive him thanks to the brilliant play he showcases each and every Sunday.

With Mahomes leading the offense, Kansas City looks like a serious threat to win the Super Bowl once again this winter. And with the Pittsburgh Steelers losing three consecutive games as well, the Chiefs feel like a lock to earn the No. 1 seed in the AFC for the playoffs, which will make their road to Tampa Bay all the easier.

Entering Sunday’s showdown with the Falcons, the Chiefs are considered monster favorites to come out on top. Don’t be surprised to see Mahomes blow up and add to his 36 touchdowns thrown this season. If Kansas City wins, though, maybe don’t expect Mahomes to belt out singing a song to celebrate. Perhaps he’ll save that for next Christmas.
