Twitter is letting Jared Goff know that his time with the Los Angeles Rams is trending downwards.

Baker Mayfield stumbled all four quarters to give the New York Jets their second win of the season. The difference between him and other quarterbacks are his four starting wide receivers all were out due to close tracing with COVID-19.

What was Jared Goff’s excuse to losing last week to them?

The Los Angeles Rams are dead in the hunt for a playoff spot. A win against the Seattle Seahawks earns them a trip to the postseason while wins in the next two weeks can keep them around in the NFC West title. The defense is doing their part to hold Russell Wilson behind.

Goff isn’t. In fact, he’s imploding once again in front of Rams’ fans eyes. That might be the straw that breaks the camel’s back when it comes time to viewing the former No.1 pick as the franchise guy long-term.

At least Twitter is ready to pull the plug on him no matter what happens in 2020.

Goff’s struggles are now putting Los Angeles in a sticky playoff spot

Goff threw a costly interception just outside the red zone to Seahawks’ Quandre Diggs. Yes, a person could argue that any turnover is bad, but where on earth was he throwing at anyways?

Fans were frustrated with the overall concerns of Goff after last week’s terrible interception last week. This week might be worse since literally no one was insight. Thus, the patience is wearing thin.

That costly interception now was the 23rd turnover of the season for Goff. Even with players like Mitchell Trusbisky and Dwayne Haskins struggling, that interception gives him the most in the NFL.

Anyone starting him in fantasy football likely cost them a title this season. Way to go, Jared!

There’s still a chance the Rams can make the playoffs as a pretty high seed. However, the way Goff is playing, this how their season will end in the first round.

Goff currently is 15-of-26 for 125 yards and has the interception. The Rams are still in this game with a serviceable quarterback. Here’s the question; is he even that anymore?
