This divisional will have implications for the playoffs.

Everything now is about seeding for the postseason. With the season winding down, Monday Night Football will have fans paying close attention to the Buffalo Bills as they look to remain head of the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Thanks to a Week 14 victory against the then one-loss franchise, that would give Buffalo the tiebreaker should they finish either 13-3 or 12-4. Josh Allen has resurged in his third season, looking like the next great quarterback of the NFL.

How so one might ask? When the Bills last won the AFC East title prior to 2020, that was in1995; three months before Allen was even born.

However, could the New England Patriots be looking to spoil their fun much like the Bills ruined New England’s winning streak?

The Patriots had won 11 straight division titles for 10 years, which marks the longest streak in NFL history. More than that,  Bill Belichick has dominated winning in the AFC East, tallying a record of  93-27 against divisional foes.

Since the hiring of Sean McDermott, things have transitioned for one of the longest losing franchises in the NFL. Not only has the former Carolina defensive coordinator posted three winning seasons, he’s also been the postseason now three times in four years.
