Cole Beasley flies into your television screen after camera collision (Video)

The Buffalo Bills wide receiver got up close and personal with ESPN’s sideline camera on Monday night.

Entering Week 16, the Buffalo Bills already had the AFC East title clinched, something they haven’t done since the 1995 season. Even with a playoff berth secured, the Bills wanted to make a statement against the previous gate-holders of the division in the New England Patriots. Wide receiver Cole Beasley did just that, but did so at the expense of the viewing audience.

Earlier on in the Monday night contest, Beasley caught a pass from quarterback Josh Allen and ran for the sidelines. In the process, Beasley was pushed in the back by cornerback Jonathan Jones, causing the receiver to collide head first into ESPN’s first down marker camera.

Beasley proved you don’t need three-dimensional glasses to feel like you’re at the game. Admit it, you flinched once that camera angle was shown.

Prior to Monday’s game against the Patriots, Beasley is having a career-year with the Bills, as he caught 79 passes for 950 yards and four touchdowns. What truly helped matters is that the Bills have Stefon Diggs as Allen’s primary target in the passing game. Hence the bloated numbers for Beasley.

While Beasley didn’t leave after his collision with the sideline camera, the slot receiver did head to the locker room with an apparent leg injury in the fourth quarter. This is something Bills fans should keep an eye throughout the week, as the team ends their regular-season against the Miami Dolphins.
