NBA DFS Power Forwards:

PF is going to be really thin at the top of KD sits or is limited. His price is high enough that I’m probably fading KD unless it’s explicitly stated that he’ll play his normal minutes. John Collins has a superb matchup and a ceiling that is just as high at $1,000 less.

Montrezl Harrell was a total bust on a night where he should have taken over with Davis out. If Davis returns, Harrell is worth using. He can still hit value from the bench.

Michael Porter is still a trap. Part of it is due to the inconsistency of the Denver rotations. Another is the overall inconsistency of Porter. He looks appetizing against Houston, but I don’t trust it. I’ve been sacrificed at the altar of Porter many times before.

Once again, Al Horford appears to have a role of mentor. That doesn’t help in NBA DFS circles, but the guy he is mentoring, Darius Bazley played very well in the opener and is still a very reasonable price tonight. It’s a tougher matchup, but I’ll roll the dice with Bazley.

Both Danuel House and P.J. Tucker were the spectators that the arena couldn’t have to Harden’s huge game. Both did a lot of standing around and not much else. Tucker has a high enough motor to make him worth a dart throw, but I don’t think I can trust House. Jae’Sean Tate is a much better dart throw than both.

We saw Sekou Doumbouya turn in a few good games early on last year when Blake was out. This could be another one of those. For $3,400, it’s definitely worth finding out.
