Fantasy football: FanDuel NFL 2020 best lineup for Week 17
By Nick Villano
Tight End: George Kittle $6,800
What happened to the tight end position towards the end of the season? Travis Kelce was always crushing it on the field, but after George Kittle got injured, things fell off. Now, there are at least five redeemable options. Heck, even Jimmy Graham had a huge week last week (21 points last week!).
There is Darren Waller being a monster for an otherwise uninspiring Raiders offense. Mark Andrews is once again the consistent scorer players saw last season. Even Rob Gronkowski turns back the clock every so often.
Let’s focus on Kittle. The star tight end returned to action last week despite being ruled out for the regular season. Most would believe that with the San Francisco 49ers basically out of it, Kittle would just wait until next season when he’s perfectly healthy. Kittle didn’t look injured at all last week. He caught four balls for 92 yards and helped the Niners bring the ball down the field during their upset win of the Cardinals.
This week, Kittle is taking on the Seattle Seahawks, who have nothing to play for (except an outside shot at the number-one seed). The Seahawks might go all out for the first half, but if it looks clear that the Saints or Packers have their games in hand, they could take the foot off the gas to stay healthy.
This is still the same Seahawks team that has one of the worst passing defenses in the league. They’ve been a lot better, but just look two weeks ago to see how they can still be carved up by a top talent. Logan Thomas had 13 catches for more than 100 yards.
Other Options: Waller $7,800, Gronkowski $6,100
