Watch Florida QB Emory Jones casually puking all over the Cotton Bowl turf (Video)
Florida quarterback Emory Jones vomited on the Cotton Bowl field after scoring a touchdown for the Gators, then chugged Pedialiye on the sideline.
The grossest moment of the 2020 bowl season didn’t come in the Duke’s Mayo Bowl like we all might have expected. It came courtesy of Florida quarterback Emory Jones in the Cotton Bowl.
Jones had just punched in a touchdown to give the Gators new life after they fell behind early against Oklahoma, only to spill his guts on his way back to the sideline. The cameras caught it all.
It’s the way he unloaded on the turf as though he were simply spitting out some water that makes the moment astounding. It’s not the only time he apparently had to vomit either.
Twitter definitely took notice.
You’ve gotta hope the Cotton Bowl has a hose nearby. Leaving Jones’ stomach acid all over the field doesn’t sound ideal.
Florida’s performance in the opening minutes of the game might have been enough to make Gator fans sick. They fell behind 17-0 after three Kyle Trask interceptions in the first quarter.
A couple of field goals and Jones’ 1-yard touchdown run put Florida back in contention with the Sooners before Spencer Rattler produced two touchdown drives in the four minutes before half time.
