Montrezl Harrell got blocked and then dunked on by DeMar DeRozan in embarrassing sequence (Video)

Los Angeles Lakers big man Montrezl Harrell suffered a series of unfortunate events during Wednesday’s game against DeMar DeRozan and the San Antonio Spurs.
Coming off a 115-107 loss to the Portland Trail Blazers, the Los Angeles Lakers entered Wednesday night trying to go above .500 again with a win over the San Antonio Spurs. Even though these aren’t the dominant Spurs of old, Lakers big man and huge free-agent signing Montrezl Harrell learned the hard way that they’re no pushovers.
During the second quarter, Harrell attempted a dunk in the paint following a pass from LeBron James, but he was viciously blocked at the rim by center Drew Eubanks. The pain wouldn’t end for Harrell, as he raced down the court only to get emphatically dunked on by swingman DeMar DeRozan.
A sequence to forget for Montrezl Harrell
If there’s one thing that Harrell can take solace in, it’s that the Lakers entered halftime with a 63-53 lead. So, there’s that.
In a little over 10 minutes of playing time in the first half, Harrell scored 2 points (both on free throws) while tallying 6 boards against San Antonio. Meanwhile, DeRozan recorded 13 points on eight shots to go with 5 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 steal and 1 block in 18 minutes of first-half action.
While Harrell would like to forget about this, the play will unfortunately be rewinded for the remainder of the week as a top-10 play. As for DeRozan, congrats on having the early favorite for Dunk of the Year.
