NFL coverage map 2020: TV schedule Week 17

There’s a lot of great NFL action in Week 17 but what will be on in your area?

The NFL regular season is set to come to an end this weekend and there is plenty of playoff intrigue in both the AFC and NFC. With all kinds of interesting angles to follow in Week 17 there is plenty of action worth watching in the NFL on Sunday.

One of the best parts of Week 17 is the dual doubleheaders on FOX and CBS, meaning fans can check out as many as five games in one day without the benefit of NFL Redzone or NFL Sunday Ticket. FOX (Early Window)

Dallas Cowboys (6-9) at New York Giants (5-10) (Red): Joe Buck, Troy Aikman

Atlanta Falcons (4-11) at Tampa Bay Buccaneers (10-5) (Blue): Chris Myers, Greg Jennings

Minnesota Vikings (6-9) at Detroit Lions (5-10) (Green): Joe Davis, Robert Smith

Despite having a slate of more meaningful games in the late window FOX has opted to send Joe Buck and Troy Aikman to MetLife Stadium for Cowboys-Giants. The winner of that game will have to wait until Sunday night to see if they can win the division. The NFC East contest will go to the vast majority of the country with the other two games getting significantly less market share.

CBS (Early Window)

Pittsburgh Steelers (12-3) at Cleveland Browns (10-5) (Red): Ian Eagle, Charles Davis

Miami Dolphins (10-5) at Buffalo Bills (12-3) (Blue): Kevin Harlan, Trent Green

Baltimore Ravens (10-5) at Cincinnati Bengals (4-10-1) (Green): Spero Dedes, Adam Archuleta

New York Jets (2-13) at New England Patriots (6-9) (Yellow): Tom McCarthy, Jay Feely

The first three games in CBS’ slate have Wild Card implications, with Steelers-Browns going to most of the country. The rest of the action is regionalized, with the only people missing out on meaningful football are the Northeast markets stuck with Jets-Patriots.

FOX (Late Window)

Green Bay Packers (12-3) at Chicago Bears (8-7) (Red): Kevin Burkhardt, Daryl Johnston

Seattle Seahawks (11-4) at San Francisco 49ers (6-9) (Blue): Kenny Albert, Jonathan Vilma

New Orleans Saints (11-4) at Carolina Panthers (5-10) (Green): Adam Amin, Mark Schlereth

Los Angeles Chargers (6-9) at Kansas City Chiefs (14-1) (Yellow): Kevin Kugler, Brock Huard

Home field advantage in the NFC is the order of the day for FOX’s late window, with most of the neutral markets in the country getting Packers-Bears, which also has significant Wild Card implications. The other three games are regionalized with the least distribution going to cross-flexed Chargers-Chiefs in a game where many Kansas City starters are likely to be resting.

CBS (Late Window)

Arizona Cardinals (8-7) at Los Angeles Rams (9-6) (Red): Jim Nantz, Tony Romo

Tennessee Titans (10-5) at Houston Texans (4-11) (Blue): Greg Gumbel, Rich Gannon

Jacksonville Jaguars (1-14) at Indianapolis Colts (10-5) (Green): Andrew Catalon, James Lofton

Las Vegas Raiders (7-8) at Denver Broncos (5-10) (Yellow): Beth Mowins, Tiki Barber

The NFL cross-flexed the Cardinals-Rams game to CBS, which is where Jim Nantz and Tony Romo will go to call a game with massive playoff implications. The AFC South games will also gain a bit more regional distribution to interested markets of AFC wild-card contenders while Raiders-Broncos is getting little play outside of local interests.

Sunday Night Football (NBC)

Washington Football Team (6-9) at Philadelphia Eagles (4-10-1): Al Michaels, Cris Collinsworth

There weren’t a lot of great options for Game 256 but the NFL gave NBC this game, which is a win-and-in for Washington in the NFC East. Al Michaels and Cris Collinsworth are on the call for a game that will decide the division. If Washington loses either the Cowboys or Giants will host a playoff game next weekend.
