College football DFS picks January 2: Go to Hall!

This is a bittersweet day for me. This is the last classic college football DFS day of the season. It has been a wild ride, but I have enjoyed every bit of it. I even made a little money to help get me through the NBA season. We cap off the 2020 campaign with four more bowl games.

First up is Kentucky and NC State in the Gator Bowl at noon Eastern. A half hour later, Indiana and Mississippi tee it off on the other side of the peninsula in the Outback Bowl. 4pm Eastern sees Iowa State and Oregon kick off in the Fiesta Bowl. The nightcap is back in Florida, this time in Miami, for A&M and North Carolina in the Orange Bowl. Let’s go out with a bang!

I used the massive leverage of Justin Fields to win me some cash yesterday. Wilson hurt the bottom line, but I hit with enough other picks, especially Northwestern value, to come out ahead.

The scoring for DraftKings college football is much the same as it is for the NFL with one notable exception: the super flex! That means aside from the flex position which is RB/WR, you can add another player from any position! Want four running backs? Go right ahead! Five wide receivers? Sure! Two quarterbacks? Of course! Just stay under the salary cap!

The super flex replaces the defense, which is essential in college football. This is all about the offense. College football DFS scoring realizes that!
