Dallas Cowboys cornerback headbutted a New York Giants player for absolutely no reason and of course was flagged for it.
With the Dallas Cowboys playing for their postseason lives on Sunday, they knew they’d have to play mistake-free football against the New York Giants in order to come away with a win in East Rutherford.
Well, a play from cornerback Jourdan Lewis in the first half surely had Mike McCarthy’s blood boiling.
That’s because after a play was clearly over, Lewis went up to New York Giants tight end Kaden Smith and decided to headbutt him. That’s not a typo, folks. Lewis went helmet-to-helmet on Smith for quite literally no reason and was flagged for a 15-yard penalty.
Nothing shows how tough you are like headbutting a player of a 5-10 team you’re losing to with the division on the line #DALvsNYG pic.twitter.com/hR9WVsubNC

Jourdan Lewis headbutting Kaden Smith was one of the most stupid mistakes you’ll see
What in the heck was Lewis thinking? Not only did he commit the bone-headed move, but he did so right in front of an official. He was basically begging for the Cowboys to get hit with the 15-yard foul. Perhaps even more infuriating is that Lewis was seen laughing even after getting flagged.
Does he not understand that the Cowboys playoff hopes are on the respirator? For him to basically shrug this mistake off and then laugh about it is absurd and most definitely has Cowboys fans fuming.
In what’s been a year to forget for Dallas across the board, it’s looking like the team will be watching the playoffs from home. This play alone basically sums up what a joke the 2020 campaign has been for the organization as a whole.
