D’Angelo Russell trolls Patrick Mahomes and endorses Aaron Rodgers for MVP
If you ask Minnesota Timberwolves star D’Angelo Russell, Aaron Rodgers is the no-brainer pick for 2020 NFL MVP.
What a season it has turned out to be for Aaron Rodgers. When the Green Bay Packers selected Jordan Love in the first round of the NFL Draft, it clearly lit a match under Rodgers, who just recorded an incredible regular season for his team.
Rodgers was so spectacular this fall/winter, countless folks out there are demanding he be named MVP. You can add NBA sharpshooter D’Angelo Russell to the list, as he endorsed Rodgers to take home the honors. He also trolled Patrick Mahomes in the process.

Surely Mahomes isn’t going to love seeing that tweet, but hey, Rodgers deserves to come out on top. What he’s been able to accomplish thus far this season has been nothing short of incredible. He finished the regular season throwing for 4,299 yards, 48 touchdowns and only five interceptions.
Behind Rodgers’ great play, the Packers went 13-3 and were able to take home the No. 1 seed in the NFC for the postseason. This weekend, they’ll be able to relax while the rest of their competition is in action during the Wild Card Round.
The Packers will then wait to see who they’ll meet in the Divisional Round, but you already know Rodgers, Davante Adams and Co. will be ready to make easy work of their opponents. As things stand, the Chiefs are the favorites to win the Super Bowl, but the Packers are serious contenders as well.
Should Green Bay go on to take home the Lombardi Trophy, there’s no question Rodgers will play a monster role in making that happen.
