Davante Adams – Green Bay Packers

It is tough to overstate just how efficient Davante Adams has been in the 2020 season both for the Packers and for fantasy managers astute enough to snag him early in their drafts.

Adams only played in 14 regular-season games but still posted career-highs in receiving yardage (1,374) and touchdowns as he led the league with 18 receptions for a score.

In fantasy football, that translated to a season-long total of 358.4 points in PPR scoring, putting him first among all wide receivers by a comprehensive margin, with Tyreek Hill (328.9) the next best at his position.

Averaging 25.6 points, Adams had three weeks in which he scored over 40 points in PPR leagues, one of those coming in Week 16 against the Titans as he delivered during championship weekend for fantasy owners everywhere.

Adams was the consensus second receiver off the board and eighth overall player drafted in all formats in 2020. In the wake of such a devastatingly productive season, there is cause to believe Adams will be the first player taken in at least some PPR drafts in 2021.

Much can and will change before then but, if the Packers do not add a receiver to eat into his target share in the offseason, there is little reason to doubt Adams can improve on his numbers as he and Aaron Rodgers continue to thrive in Matt LaFleur’s offense.
