Alabama’s star running back wasn’t happy about the actions of a Ohio State defender following his touchdown run.

In the 2021 CFP Championship Game, the Alabama Crimson Tide got on the board first. Quarterback Mac Jones led the offense down the field with an impressive throw to Heisman Trophy-winning wide receiver DeVonta Smith and an innovative flip to returning wideout Jaylen Waddle. The drive was capped off with a fourth-and-goal rush by star running back Najee Harris.

Many were wondering why Harris was seen complaining to an official following his touchdown run. Upon replay, you can see Ohio State defender linebacker Tuf Borland appear to grab and twist Harris’ left ankle.

ESPN commetator Kirk Herbstreit mentioned during the broadcast that Harris was seen complaining to Alabama offensive analyst Butch Jones on the sidelines about Borland’s actions.

The good thing is that Harris appears to be just fine, as he returned to the field on Alabama’s second drive of the game. It certainly would’ve put a damper on a game that already saw Ohio State running back Trey Sermon leave with an injury early on in the first quarter.

Following this score, Harris brought his touchdown total up to 25 on the year.
