Packers superstar Davante Adams can’t wait for the opportunity to go up against Jalen Ramsey this weekend.

When the Green Bay Packers and Los Angeles Rams face off on Saturday, there’s no question one of the best matchups fans can’t wait to see is the one between Davante Adams and Jalen Ramsey.

Adams is one of the best wideouts in the game, while Ramsey is the textbook definition of a shutdown cornerback. Leading up to the action, Adams is respectful of how elite he thinks Ramsey is, but that isn’t stopping him from feeling as confident as ever.

“With Jalen,” Adams said, “I don’t know how much talking is going to happen. Honestly, I don’t see a whole lot of talking. It’ll probably get a little chippy every now and then, but I’ve got respect for him. I’m sure based on our conversations we’ve had before, he’s got respect for me. So it won’t be no disrespect or stuff going on out there, but it will probably get heated.”

Don’t mistake the lack of buzzy trash talk quotes for a lack of confidence from Adams.

Davante Adams is ready to put on a show against Jalen Ramsey and the Rams

Not only are the Packers big favorites to move on to the NFC Championship Game, but Adams is playing like the best receiver on the planet.

During the regular season, Adams was a freak of nature, hauling in 115 balls for 1,374 yards and a league-best 18 touchdowns. There’s a reason Aaron Rodgers has said Adams is one of the best players he’s ever suited up with.

Now, Adams will have quite the test going up against Ramsey, who did fantastic work locking down DK Metcalf in the Wild Card Round win over Seattle.

As good as Ramsey is, Adams isn’t going to backdown from anyone. When these two teams face off with a trip to the NFC title game on the line, the Packers’ stud will be ready to come down with anything Rodgers throws his way. Get your popcorn ready for what should be a thrilling Adams-Ramsey showdown, folks.
