Charles Barkley made sure to get a shot in at Kevin Durant regarding James Harden being traded to the Nets.

The Brooklyn Nets made the bold decision to mortgage their future in exchange for James Harden. It will all be worth it if they can win a championship.

The present concern is making sure all the big personalities fit together. Kevin Durant and Harden were teammates in the past, but Kyrie Irving is a wild card in the dynamic. Charles Barkley decided to chime in with a shot of his own regarding this new trio in Brooklyn.

Barkley brings up a good point

Durant, Harden and Irving represent a trio of ball-dominant players who will try to work together to win a championship. As of right now, the main concern will be getting Irving back on the court in general.

But let’s say the three are playing alongside one another heading into the playoffs. Who is going to take the final shot? Is Harden going to want to continue playing the style of basketball he favored in Houston? Will Durant get frustrated and tweet from a burner account?

There are so many questions to be answered, and the only way to subdue the drama and the talk will be for the Nets to just win. The Nets are hoping Harden and Durant will have no issue working together once again. Getting Irving on board will be the key.

It is easy to mock the trio at this point in time. They haven’t had a chance to prove they can jell and the storylines are glaring. The Nets are hoping the jokes can fade, because if the trio doesn’t work out, that franchise is going to be wondering why they traded away so many draft picks to not win a championship.
