Chase Claypool calls out the Browns for not winning with class (Video)
If you ask Pittsburgh Steelers rookie wideout Chase Claypool, the Browns were classless with how they handled their upset win in the Wild Card Round.
There’s really no love lost between Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Chase Claypool and the Cleveland Browns. Tensions between the two sides have run high ever since last weekend when the Browns went to Heinz Field and upset the Steelers.
Shortly after the loss, Claypool took quite a bit of heat after he said that Cleveland is about to get rocked by the Kansas City Chiefs in the Divisional Round. What made him so upset? Well, it looks like Cleveland got under Claypool’s skin for being a bit immature and not celebrating their victory in Pittsburgh with class.

Chase Claypool has called out Browns players for not winning with class
“I think if the Browns had won with more class, then I wouldn’t have been so salty,” Claypool said. “Them mocking JuJu (Smith-Schuster) during the game and after the game just didn’t sit right with me.
“They were just super classless against JuJu and towards JuJu with what they were saying on the field towards the end of the game. I’m not going to have respect for a team that doesn’t have respect for us.”
As you can see from his quote above, Claypool was quite furious with how the Browns behaved in Pittsburgh…at one point. This is quite the AFC North rivalry, and the showdown was as good as advertised. In the end, the Browns came away with a head-turning win, but they also appear to have beaten down some of the Pittsburgh players from a mental standpoint as well.
When the dust cleared, Claypool settled down a bit, and issued a Twitter response to the video.

Should the Browns upset Kansas City too, you can expect them to get back to Claypool and let them know they were motivated by him. One thing’s for sure: we can’t wait till these two teams meet next.
