Odell Beckham Jr. gives Chiefs clear bulletin board material for Divisional Round
Odell Beckham Jr. may very much end up regretting his latest tweet that will surely motivate the Chiefs to take down the Browns.
Sometimes, it’s best for players to stay quiet on social media so they don’t add fuel to the fire for their opposition. Unfortunately for Cleveland Browns fans, someone forgot to deliver that message to star wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr.
While the wideout is out for the season with a torn ACL and won’t be able to suit up this weekend, he’s confident that the Browns can head to Arrowhead Field and take down the Kansas City Chiefs. With that being said, he probably shouldn’t have let everyone know that on his Twitter account.
Odell Beckham Jr. providing the Chiefs with bulletin board material is not good at all
On one hand, you’ve got to love Beckham having that much belief in his teammates. After all, the Browns went on to stun the Pittsburgh Steelers in the Wild Card Round to set up this weekend’s showdown with the Chiefs.
But, Beckham has to know better as well. This is 2021. You’re out of your mind if you don’t think players in the Kansas City locker room have seen this tweet and are a bit fired up by it. These are the defending Super Bowl champions, and OBJ is on Twitter saying the Browns are going to come out on top?
Patrick Mahomes himself doesn’t need any extra motivation, but don’t be surprised to see him throw for 400 yards and four touchdowns to prove a point. No one should ever doubt Kansas City. Come Sunday, the Chiefs will be ready to put on a show and let Beckham know that it’s never smart to bet against them, especially in the postseason.
