Leading up to this weekend’s showdown with the LA Rams, Packers tight end Robert Tonyan wrote an emotional letter to Green Bay fans everywhere.

This season, Green Bay Packers standout Robert Tonyan has emerged as one of the finest tight ends in the NFC. He’s become a go-to option for Aaron Rodgers, consistently hauling in big-time catches for the team.

Tonyan has also developed quite the relationship with the Packers fanbase, as the supporters seem to be loving him more and more each day. Well, the feeling is mutual. Tonyan made that much clear in an incredible letter he wrote via The Players’ Tribune.

Robert Tonyan expressed how much it means to him to be on the Green Bay Packers

In his letter, Tonyan wrote about his first experiences with the Packers, including meeting Aaron Rodgers. That of course is something he’ll never forget.

At the same time, donning a Green Bay jersey as a whole is something he’ll never take for granted. You can tell just how much it means him to be able to represent the organization.

“That big G, and everything it stands for? It’s unlike anything in all of sports,” Tonyan wrote. “And that’s not me being disrespectful in any way to any other team. It’s just that Lambeau Field and the Green Bay Packers … that’s NFL royalty right there. The frozen tundra, all those historic games, that yellow and green. It speaks for itself at this point.”

If you’re a Packers fan, does that quote not have you ready to run through a brick wall? Tonyan indeed impressed this year, as he caught 52 balls for 586 yards and 11 touchdowns.

As you can tell from his post to Green Bay nation, he’s ready to do whatever it takes to help the squad win the Super Bowl this season. Should the Packers go on and win it all, it’ll be a moment Tonyan will surely remember for the rest of his life.
