Will Compton planning revenge on Ravens for stomping on Titans logo
By Scott Rogust
The Tennessee Titans-Baltimore Ravens logo war is far from being over following their Wild Card Round matchup.
This past weekend, the Baltimore Ravens clinched their Wild Card win over the Tennessee Titans with an interception by cornerback Marcus Peters. After the pick, various members of the Ravens walked over to the Titans’ midfield logo and started celebrating on it. Even after the game, the Ravens walked off the field without shaking hands with the Titans, as they were angered by the Titans standing on their midfield logo prior to their Week 11 matchup.
If you thought this rivalry was over, you’re wrong.
During the latest episode of the “Bussin’ with the Boys” podcast, Titans linebacker Will Compton discussed what transpired over the course of the season before claiming that the Ravens won’t win the Super Bowl this year. In fact, Compton says that he’ll be photoshopping the Crying Michael Jordan meme face on all of the Ravens players celebrating on their logo and drop it as soon as they lose in the playoffs.

Ravens will be subject to memes if they get eliminated
Compton brings up the point that the Titans always met at midfield to break things down during pregame. Left tackle and podcast cohost Taylor Lewon mentioned that the Titans did the exact same thing prior to last year’s Divisional Round matchup at M&T Bank Stadium, in which the Titans shocked the world by defeating the Ravens to clinch a spot in the AFC Championship Game.
However, when the Titans did that back in Week 11, the Ravens took exception and a scuffle ensued. Even Ravens head coach John Harbaugh got in the face of Titans head coach Mike Vrabel during the extracurriculars prior to kickoff.
The Ravens obviously weren’t pleased by the Titans’ meeting at the midfield logo and planned revenge after the playoff win was sealed. Let’s face it, any home team doesn’t like it when the opposition stands on the pregame logo. Just ask Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster about midfield logos, as he angered the Buffalo Bills and Cincinnati Bengals in consecutive weeks with his TikTok dances, and it bit the Steelers badly.
If the Ravens are to be eliminated by the Bills this Saturday night, you can expect a meme to drop, courtesy of the Titans linebacker.
