The Buffalo Bills are going to the AFC Championship for the first time since 1993.

Last week, members of the Bills Mafia were ecstatic watching the Buffalo Bills defeat the Indianapolis Colts in the Wild Card Round. That was their first playoff victory since 1995. While the win was great, that was just a taste. This Buffalo team wanted more.

On Saturday, they defeated the Baltimore Ravens 17-3 to advance to their first AFC Championship Game since the 1993 season. As expected, Bills fans couldn’t contain themselves on social media as they watched their favorite team continue to their playoff run.

Bills defense put a stop to Baltimore’s offense

On paper, the Ravens were supposed to be a formidable foe for Buffalo. They had quarterback Lamar Jackson, who can kill opposing defenses with his feet, and a stout defense that ranked inside the top 10.

After an uneventful first half for both squads, Buffalo’s offense woke up at the start of the third quarter. On their very first drive of the second half, quarterback Josh Allen would hit star wide receiver Stefon Diggs for a three-yard touchdown, giving Buffalo a 10-3 lead. The Ravens actually threatened to tie the game on the very next drive. On the 15th play on Buffalo’s nine-yard line, Jackson threw an interception to cornerback Taron Johnson, who returned it 101 yards for the touchdown to essentially seal the victory.

Buffalo now awaits the winner of Sunday afternoon’s Kansas City Chiefs-Cleveland Browns game. If the Chiefs win, then Buffalo hits the road. But if the Browns win, Bills Mafia gets to attend another playoff game in Orchard Park, New York. Safe to say Buffalo fans are going to be rooting for Cleveland on Sunday.

Either way, Bills Mafia will be celebrating by throwing themselves through some tables early into the morning.
