2021 NFL Mock Draft: Jacksonville Jaguars get Urban Meyer a quarterback

Offensive Lineman. Washington Commanders. Christian Darrisaw. 19. player. 58.

The Washington Football Team needs to go out and find a long-term answer at quarterback this offseason, but after making the playoffs this past season, that is going to be hard to do in the first round. The Football Team holds the No. 19 pick, and unless they move up, getting a legitimate franchise guy this late is going to be tough.

Instead, they should look to bolster the offensive line with this pick, and they do so by adding Christian Darrisaw from Virginia Tech. Some feel this is the best overall offensive tackle in this draft class, and while that is debatable, he is an upgrade over the current tackles the Football Team has on their roster right now.

player. 57. . Wide Receiver. Chicago Bears. Jaylen Waddle. 20

The biggest question of the offseason in terms of the Chicago Bears will revolve around Mitchell Trubisky and whether or not they bring him back for Year 5. Trubisky lost the starting job to Nick Foles this past season but rebounded late, and actually led the Bears to a playoff spot.

If it is Trubisky, or someone else under center next season, the truth is, the Bears will likely have to relieve their best weapon in Allen Robinson. If Robinson jets to another team, they have to bring in reinforcements and getting a talent like Jaylen Waddle this late would be huge.

21. player. 46. . Cornerback. Indianapolis Colts. Jaycee Horn

The Indianapolis Colts have a decision to make in terms of the quarterback spot next season, as Philip Rivers is either coming back for another year or retiring. No matter who is under center next season, the Colts have their issues on both sides of the ball, but they were a playoff team this past season.

On defense, the secondary requires help at the cornerback spot, and one player to keep an eye on this draft cycle in Jaycee Horn. This is a kid who is outstanding in man coverage, has soft hands, and for the Colts, he fills an immediate need at a premium position.
